Abstract: Organizations do not work in vacuum; they are comprised of real people. But what does innovation mean for the individual employee? Effective innovations are created by individual people in an organization who through their imagination, diligence and collaborative efforts take ideas to the next step of implementation. This presentation will focus on innovation at the personal level and examine some of the common behavior patterns that successful inventors have followed to overcome challenges and turn their ideas into useful innovations.
